- Provide technical expertise to produce designs for complete telecommunications infrastructure to support customer Production and Facility systems.
- Complete a code compliant and functional telecommunications design that is fully coordinated with all necessary disciplines, regardless of any omission of a necessary element, component, etc. in the documentation provided by customers within their brief or basis-of-design.
- Design Deliverables shall include 3D BIM model production and development of LOD in line with the project stage, Masterformat Division 27 specifications or equivalent, detailed drawings, rack elevations and bills of materials that shall delineate owner furnished (OFCI) and contractor furnished (CFCI) components for supplier alignment.
- Request all required information from the client such as baseline elements for the project’s telecommunication, networking and cabling system design and any additional standards or processes that are to be adhered to.
- Understand the various nuances and demarcation of services/spaces between Customer owned sites, sole tenant lease sites and multi-customer lease sites.
- Produce detailed designs for all communication spaces with enlarged plans identifying conduit stub-ups and sleeves, coordinated clearances with all disciplines, overhead pathway support details, wall penetrations and elevations, rack location labelling and elevations, panel schedules, details. - Server and storage racks
- Main Distribution Frames
- Intermediate Distribution Frames
- End of Row or Middle of Row network racks
- Satellite or field racks
- Security racks
